About us

After holding eight Scientific Meetings on Hellenistic Pottery in Greece, there was found a strong need to disseminate this work to a wider audience, particularly to younger archaeologists. To this end, it was decided and carried out the realisation of the special website of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki regarding the Scientific Meetings held to date.

The site came under the auspices of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the responsibility of Professor S. Drougou. The website was implemented by the archaeologists St. Garoufa and N. Valasiadis. Polyptychon Cultural Services has re-designed and re-developed the website for the International Scientific Meetings on Hellenistic Pottery. The rectorship of the University covered the financial backing of the project.
